History of the Institute
Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Oncology was established in accordance with the Law No. 3837 published in the Official Gazette on 03.07.1992.
It is one of the three Oncology Institutes in Turkey, also only established Oncology Institute in the Aegean Region.
